MANILA, Philippines — A fire struck a residential area in Manila City early Friday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
BFP said authorities rushed to the scene on 1254 Morales Street, San Andres Bukid, when the first alarm rang at 5:36 a.m.
Minutes later, it reached the third alarm, the BFP said.
The bureau added that at 7:54 a.m., the blaze was declared “fire out.”

Firefighters are still in the process of completely extinguishing the fire as of posting time.
No injuries were reported as of this writing.
