In an advisory by the Maynilad, the yellowish water was attributed to a higher manganese in the raw water in the Angat Dam.

“We have received reports of yellowish water supply in some portions of the West Zone today. This is due to the higher manganese in the raw water passing through the low-level outlet of Angat Dam,” Maynilad said.
