Labor Day march stalls traffic in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – The Labor Day march of militant groups has caused bumper to bumper traffic in Manila.

Some 2,000 protesters, as per police reports, occupied the entire southbound lane, heading towards Mendiola.

The group composed of members from various organizations such as Kalipunan ng Madamay, Bayan and Gabriela is currently holding a program as they unveiled a symbolic mural and President Benigno Aquino III’s effigy. Jamie Elona
