Pateros police launches manhunt of escaped prisoners

Manila, Philippines—A manhunt operation to capture four inmates who bolted  their detention cell in Pateros on Sunday, is now underway, a Pateros police report said on Monday.

At around 5 a.m., the detainees sawed the iron grills of their cell at the Pateros Temporary Detention Center. They were able to escape, the report said.

The inmates at large were identified as Rowel Flores, 27; Erwin Dayao, 24; Antonio Pido, 35; Teotemo Laderas, 39, the report said.
