LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested an alleged “high value” drug trafficker and seized over P3.4 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in San Pablo City in Rizal province on Friday (November 3).
The Police Regional Office-4A (PRO-4A) reported Saturday (November 4) that members of the Laguna drug enforcement unit and local policemen collared the male suspect identified as alias “Oneng,” 36, after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) San Nicolas around 4:30 p.m.
The law enforcers confiscated from the suspect three sealed plastic bags of meth weighing 500 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P3,450,000.
The report tagged “Oneng,” a resident of Caloocan City, as included on the police drug watch list as an “HVI” or high-value individual in the illegal drug trade.
The suspect was detained at the local police jail and is facing charges of violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Last month, police anti-narcotics operatives in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon seized more than P32.2 million worth of shabu and marijuana during their operations in October.
