MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday said it has suspended the proclamation of 92 winning candidates in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE).
The number belongs to the 253 candidates for whom the Comelec has ordered the suspension of the proclamation as they face petitions against their candidacies in the BSKE.
Meanwhile, 106 of the 253 candidates lost the elections.

To recall, on Oct. 24, the Comelec approved a resolution allowing the suspension of the proclamation of 2023 BSKE winners with the following pending petitions:
- To deny due course or to cancel the Certificate of Candidacy
- To declare a nuisance candidate
- For disqualification until further orders from the Commission
