Hundreds flock to Manila North Cemetery ahead of ‘Undas’
MANILA, Philippines — Hundreds of visitors flocked to the Manila North Cemetery on Sunday to visit the final resting place of their departed loved ones ahead of this year’s Undas (All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day) break.
In a video by INQUIRER.net, hundreds of people were seen walking around the cemetery this afternoon.
Based on the guidelines released by the Manila North Cemetery last October 11, its main gates will be open to visitors from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. until November 2.
Visitors are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages, flammable materials, firearms, sharp objects (knives, cutters), videoke or other devices that generate loud sounds, playing cards, bingo cards, or other gambling paraphernalia.
Moreover, the Manila police said vehicles will be barred from entering the area until November 2.
