MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has deployed around 1,450 traffic enforcers for the upcoming All Saints’ Day or Undas.

According to MMDA Traffic Enforcement Group Victor Nuñez, MMDA authorities have made the rounds in selected provincial terminals, and besides having enforcers at their posts, they also deployed street sweepers in cemeteries in Metro Manila.

The official also reminded the public to make necessary time arrangements when traveling to the provinces as bus terminals, ports, and airports experience heavy traffic due to the volume of people going to their provinces.

“Paalala natin sa publiko – make sure that you have enough time or leeway kung kayo ay pupunta sa pantalan, sa mga bus terminals and airports kasi ho talaga sa dami ng mga umuwi ngayon, we would expect na talagang tutukod ang traffic lalung-lalo na doon sa malalapit sa airports and bus terminals,” Nuñez said.
