MANILA, Philippines — 153 out of 226 examinees passed the October 2023 Optometrists Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulatory Commission announced on Tuesday.
The written part of the examination was held on October 10 to 12, while the practical examination was held on October 15 to 18.
Solana Cua from a foreign university topped the list of passers with a rating of 90.51 percent, followed by Southwestern University’s Cathy Octavia (90.50 percent) and Mary Guani (89.35 percent).
Southwestern University garnered the highest passing rate at 88.89 percent, followed by Manila Central University – Caloocan (84.00 percent) and Mindanao Medical Foundation College (83.87 percent.)
The PRC said that the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced later.
