Chavez to file another plunder case vs Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
MANILA, Philippines–Former Solicitor Francisco Chavez said he will file another plunder case against former President, now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
He said he was “a free agent of the people.”
The plunder case against Arroyo was set to be filed Tuesday but Chavez declined to give details.
Chavez appeared this morning before the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) to be interviewed for the Ombudsman position but withdrew his nomination “after (a) long discussion with his family.”
“We discussed the stress that could go along with the job,” Chavez said.
“I told them that it will be a chance for me to serve the public again… (but) they have prevailed upon me,” he said.
