2 armed drug suspects busted in Quezon
LUCENA CITY — Two alleged armed drug pushers were arrested Wednesday in separate operations in Quezon province.
The Quezon police said in a report on Thursday, Oct. 19, that alias “Kalbo,” 24, was carrying an undocumented .45-caliber pistol loaded with four bullets when caught in a buy-bust operation at 11 p.m. in Barangay Lumingon in Tiaong town.
His associate, alias “Raff,” escaped during the drug transaction.
Authorities seized the illegal firearm and shabu (crystal meth) worth P77,520 from “Kalbo,” who was on the police list of street-level drug pushers.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle with a sidecar believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.

The suspects were detained and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, gun laws, and the Omnibus Election Code.
