Bongbong Marcos leaves for Saudi Arabia
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.
The President is set to attend the first ever Association of Southeast Asian Nations-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit (Asean-GCC).

The trip will be short, with Marcos expected to return by Friday.

During the Asean-GCC, Marcos will meet with the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
The DFA also said that the President will meet with business leaders. Bilateral meetings with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are also possible.
