MANILA, Philippines — Israel-based Filipino workers who were repatriated on Oct. 18 will get psychosocial counseling and other forms of support, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The department, with various government agencies, will provide immediate assistance and other forms of support, including psycho-social counseling, stress debriefing, medical referral, and temporary accommodation to the OFWs while awaiting transit to their respective provinces,” the DMW said.
The DMW made the announcement on the same day that it welcomed 16 Filipinos, including a one-month-old baby, from war-torn Israel on Wednesday.
