MANILA, Philippines — Fire broke out in Tondo, Manila on Friday afternoon, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
According to the bureau, the blaze transpired in a residential area in Baseco compound.
Authorities responded to the incident at 1:15 p.m, when the fire’s first alarm was raised.
The situation reached second alarm until the blaze was put out at 2:12 p.m.
BFP has not yet identified the cause of the fire.
The number of establishments affected nor the extent of damage it caused has yet to be determined.
No injuries were reported as of this writing.
