MANILA, Philippines — The Manila North Cemetery has released its guidelines for the commemoration of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day this year.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, its management announced that the main gates of the cemetery will be open from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm from October 30 to November 2.
Interments and cremations will be suspended from October 28 to Nov. 2, it also said.
Cleaning, painting, and renovation of graves, on the other hand, will be allowed until October 25 only.
Its office will resume activities on November 3, the advisory also said.
The management also reminded he public that the following items are prohibited inside cemetery premises from October 28 to November 2:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Flammable materials
- Firearms and sharp objects (knives, cutters)
- Videoke, or other devices that cause loud sounds
- Playing cards, bingo cards, or other gambling paraphernalia
Vendors will also be prohibited inside the cemetery from October 28 to November 2.
