MANILA, Philippines — Department of Health (DOH) warned the public against certain individuals posing as personnel from the agency to obtain money from their suppliers.

In an advisory on Tuesday, the department said posers use DOH Secretary Teodoro Herbosa’s name in unauthorized solicitations.

“This claim is false. The DOH will not tolerate such alleged illegal actions,” the department said in an advisory.

“The Secretary as well as the personnel are fully committed to upholding the integrity and maintaining respect accorded to such a public office, as well as the trust of the Filipino people,” it added.
