2 Filipinos injured amid Israel-Hamas conflict

Two Filipinos were injured amid the ongoing armed conflict in Israel,  according to Consul General and Deputy Chief of Mission Anthony Mandap.

Mandap on Monday said one of the two injured Filipinos is a male who was shot by members of the Palestinian group Hamas while he was being rescued by the Israel Defense Forces from a shelter.

Five Filipinos remain unaccounted for amid the ongoing conflict on Israel, according to the  Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

“Usually caregivers ‘yan. Ang isa ay lalaki. We’re not giving complete details dahil baka ayaw pa ng family. Ang latest number ay five [Filipinos ang unaccounted] for pero walang casualties so far,” Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview.

Oil firms roll back fuel prices by up to P3.05/liter effective Oct 10

Big-time rollbacks in the pump prices of petroleum products will greet motorists on Tuesday, Oct. 10, as local oil firms announced cuts by up to P3.05 per liter.

In separate advisories, the companies said they would slash the prices of gasoline by P3.05 per liter and diesel by P2.45 per liter.
