MANILA, Philippines — 2,740 out of 8,734 examinees passed the September 2023 Certified Public Accountants licensure examination, the Professional Regulatory Board (PRC) announced Friday.
No schools qualified for the list of schools with the highest passing rate, as the PRC only counts those with at least 50 or more examinees, and with at least an 80 percent passing rate.
Meanwhile, Allaine Collamar of the University of the Philippines – Visayas Tacloban and Heban Tawantawan of the University of San Jose – Recoletos were named topnotchers with a rating of 91.17 percent.
Frances Foronda of Isabela State University – Echague took the second spot at 90.50 percent, while John Patrick Fronda of the Phinma-Upang College Urdaneta Inc. as well as Aldrich Galang from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University were third at the same rating of 90.33 percent.
The PRC said the date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony for successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
