‘Konsyerto Sa Palasyo’ for teachers set Sunday night — PCO

MANILA, Philippines — The third edition of the “Konsyerto Sa Palasyo” (Concert at the Palace), which is dedicated to the country’s teachers, will be held in Malacañang Palace on Sunday evening, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO). 

The PCO said the concert will feature rap trio MC Leandro of General Trias, Cavite; B.O.N, or the “Bars Overcoming Negativity” of Tanza, Cavite; Delicano Uno of Sta. Cruz, Manila and vocalists Alex Dagaleam, Rommel Arellano, Bea Sacramento and Luke Dela Cruz.

The Central Mindanao University Music Society, Douglas Nierras Powerdance, and the Philippine DanceSport Federation will also perform in the event. 

Multi-awarded theater actors Gerald Santos, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, and Ima Castro will also grace the “Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Para sa Mahal Nating mga Guro,” which was held upon the request of Vice President and Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte, in line with the National Teachers Month celebration. 

Konsyerto sa Palasyo will be live-streamed on the official Facebook pages of Konsyerto sa Palasyo and Radio Television Malacañang at 6:30 p.m.

The PCO said the palace also hosted concerts for medical workers and athletes last April and August, featuring Filipino artists nationwide.
