MANILA, Philippines — All trial courts across the country will be on shortened operation on Monday, September 25, to allow judiciary employees and their families to celebrate the Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day.

The Supreme Court issued this announcement Sunday, noting that all trial courts will only hold business hours until 3 p.m., in line with Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992), which declared the last week of September as Family Week.

“As cleared by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, pursuant to Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992), and in view of Memorandum Circular No. 32 dated 21 September 2023 of the Office of the President, Malacañang, there will be an EARLY DISMISSAL in all trial courts on 25 September 2023 by 3:00 p.m.,” the SC said.

Memorandum Circular No. 32 was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on September 21.
