MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has warned of flooding across the country brought by rains from a low pressure area (LPA) sighted 125 kilometers east northeast of Infanta, Quezon, and also due to the southwest monsoon.
In its advisory on Friday evening, the following rivers and tributaries particularly in the locations below may experience flooding:
Cordillera Administrative Region
- Abra – Upper Abra, Tineg and Ikmin
- Ifugao – All rivers and its tributaries
- Benguet – Upper Bauang
- Mountain Province – All rivers and its tributaries
Region I – Ilocos Region
- Pangasinan – Balincaguing and Alaminos
- La Union – Amburayan, Baroro, Lower Bauang and Aringay
Region III – Central Luzon
- Bataan – Balanga and Morong
- Aurora – Casiguran, Aguang and Lower Umiray

Pagasa also advised people living near the mountain slopes and the low-lying areas, as well as the disaster management councils of the mentioned locations to take necessary precautions.
