MANILA, Philippines — From 10,400, a total of 10,391 candidates have completed day two of the Bar examinations, the Supreme Court said Friday.

The 10,400 is the number of candidates who completed day one of the examination last Sunday, September 17, out of 10,791 candidates approved to take the Bar.

The Bar examination’s last day is next Sunday, September 24.

The SC went back to the September schedule of the Bar examination after 13 years. But this time, it will be for three days instead of four–Sept. 17 (Sunday), 20 (Wednesday) and  24 (Sunday). The last time the Bar exam was held in September was in 2009 at the Dela Salle University in Manila. In 2010, the venue of the Bar exam moved to the University of Santo Tomas and was conducted every November.

Currently, 2,310 Bar personnel have been deployed in the local testing centers nationwide.

Supreme Court Justices, led by Bar 2023 Chairman Ramon Paul Hernando, visited various testing centers, ensuring a smooth conduct of the examination.

“Based on our assessment, we were able to properly address all concerns in the local testing centers…The opening jitters that we have experienced in Bar Day 1 had been handled successfully,” Hernando said.
