A 69-year-old traffic enforcer was stabbed and wounded by a tricycle driver after they argued over a traffic violation in barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City.
Themestocles Boholst of the City Traffic Management System (CTMS) sustained stab wounds in the chest, abdomen and arm.
The driver, Ryan Alegarbes, of barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City, was arrested by police.
Boholst last Wednesday scolded the tricycle driver for stopping in the middle of Lopez Jaena Street causing a traffic jam.
Alegarbes got irked. He left after telling the traffic enforcer to wait for him.
A few minutes later, Alegarbes returned and attacked Boholst with a knife.
