MANILA, Philippines — The fire at a warehouse along Governor Pascual Avenue in Barangay Catmon in Malabon City, which started Monday night, is still burning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) said on Tuesday that firefighters were sent to the area at 9:58 p.m. on Monday.
The first alarm was raised at 10:06 p.m., followed by a second one at 10:09 p.m.
The third alarm was sounded at 10:13 p.m.
Authorities declared the blaze “under control” by 11:30 p.m.
As of publishing, the fire has yet to be put out.
BFP-NCR Fire Officer Jam Lucas told INQUIRER.net over the phone that firefighters were at the scene with 10 firetrucks arriving.
Lucas added the investigation is pending until a “fire out” is declared.
Damage and the cause of the blaze are not yet known.
