MANILA, Philippines — The third edition of the “Konsyerto sa Palasyo” (Concert at the Palace) will be dedicated to teachers.

Officially dubbed as the “Konsyerto Sa Palasyo: Para sa Mahal Nating mga Guro” (Concert at the Palace: For Our Dear Teachers), the concert will be held in Mabini Hall in Malacañang Palace on Oct. 1, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced in a statement issued on Monday.

“The gates of Malacañang will welcome hundreds of Filipino teachers in honor of their relentless passion and dedication to educate learners in the Philippines and overseas — a vital aspect that is seen to serve as a strong foundation of our future,” the PCO statement said.

The statement did not specify the featured artists, only saying that the performers are Filipino artists and special guests.

The previous edition of “Konsyerto sa Palasyo” was held to honor the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the families of its members.
