2 arrested in Taguig drug sting; P2.9 M shabu seized

MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested two drug suspects and seized some P3 million worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation in Taguig City, the Southern Police District said on Friday.

Empoy Cayagcag, 54; and Mecky Untua, 42 were arrested in a mosque compound in Barangay New Lower Bicutan and yielded 427.92 grams of shabu.

Cayagcag and Untua were turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for a comprehensive laboratory and drug test examination. (Jezvette Mapagdalita, INQUIRER.net trainee)
