New Clark airport chief named
President Marcos has appointed Arrey Perez as president and chief executive officer of the Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC), according to Malacañang. The CIAC is a nonchartered government-owned and controlled corporation tasked to develop, operate, manage and maintain the Clark Civil Aviation Complex within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. Perez, former senior vice president of the Corporate Services Group of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), replaced Nancy Paglinawan who served as the CIAC’s officer in charge. Perez worked as a senior finance officer of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway under the Project Management Office of the BCDA from June 2005 to February 2010. A certified public accountant, Perez is also a licensed real estate broker. The President also appointed Victor Manuel Jr. as member of the BCDA board of directors. He also named Samsudin Lintongan as Director III and Victor Del Rosario as Executive Director III of the Department of Migrant Workers. —NESTOR CORRALES
