Quezon City cops probe ‘chop-chop’ murder
MANILA, Philippines – Quezon City police are investigating a possible gruesome murder of a man whose chopped body parts were found in different locations in the city, police said.
Police Officer 3 Eden Pascua said a left leg with a “Boogie Ventura” tattoo was stumbled upon by village official Romulo Ecat on San Mateo Road in Barangay (village) Batasan Hills around 6 a.m.
Pascua said that the chopped part, wrapped in a garbage bag, apparently belonged to a body of a male person.
Meanwhile, a right and a left arm, also stuffed inside a garbage bag, were found on Saturnina Street in Barangay (village) Sauyo, some 10 kilometers from Batasan Hills, by one Calixto Alberto.
Police are investigating if the arms and leg belonged to a single murder victim.
