MANILA, Philippines — House of Representatives has adopted a resolution sending its condolences to the family of veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez.
During the regular session on Wednesday, House Resolution 1254, consolidated with other related resolutions, was approved by lawmakers through viva voce or voice voting.
“The death of Mike Enriquez has left a void in the industry,” Speaker Martin Romuldez said this in a statement.
“His absence will be felt for a long time,” he added.
Enriquez died on August 29 at the age of 71.
