MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit a three-story residential building in Globo de Oro Street, Quiapo, Manila on Wednesday.
The first alarm was raised at 6:17 a.m., followed by the second at 6:23 a.m., the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said in a Facebook post.
It was declared under control at 7:18 a.m.
A Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region official confirmed that the fire was already out at 7:53 a.m.
“Fire out as of 7:53 a.m.,” Fire Officer III Sarah Alagano said in a phone interview with INQUIRER.net.
She added that investigating the cause and whether there are injured individuals is ongoing.
