MANILA, Philippines – Metro Manila may experience the same sizzling weather as Tuesday, state weather forecasters said.
On Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration recorded the hottest day in the capital this year at 36.2 degrees Celsius at 2:10 in the afternoon.
Pagasa’s extended weather outlook showed that Metro Manila could reach 36 degrees Celsius Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure area or lesser clouds is extending across Luzon, it added.
Luzon will experience partly cloudy skies while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, Pagasa said.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, it added.
