Mother, daughter nabbed during anti-drug ops in Taguig
MANILA, Philippines — A mother and her daughter with over P170,000 worth of suspected crystal meth or “shabu” were arrested in Taguig City following an anti-drug operation, according to police.
In a report, the Southern Police District (SPD) said operatives of Tipas police Substation 5 identified the two female suspects Jeanie Dugay, 47, and Eunice Dugay, 29.
They were arrested during a police operation along Dingguinbayan Street in Barangay Ibayo Tipas last August 23.
Recovered from them were 25.5 grams or six sachets of shabu worth P173,400.
Authorities turned over the suspects and pieces of evidence to SPD’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit for the preparation of necessary documents for the filing of complaints against the arrested individuals. — Ivana Romero, INQUIRER.net, trainee
