Public access points to PH Arena will be closed for FIBA World Cup 2023 — Nlex
MANILA, Philippines — All public access points leading to the Philippine Arena will be inaccessible starting on Friday, August 25 for the opening of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Basketball World Cup 2023.
In an advisory issued on Wednesday, North Luzon Expressway (Nlex) Corporation said the temporary closure will start at 5:30 p.m.
These access points include “Ciudad de Victoria toll plaza northbound and southbound exits, Igulot intersection access via MacArthur highway, and Gate 3 at Barangay Bolakan (backdoor),” according to Nlex.
It added that only point-to-point buses and vehicles authorized by FIBA with valid vehicle access and parking permits would be allowed to pass through Ciudad de Victoria.
Article continues after this advertisementNlex advised motorists and drivers to be affected by the closure to take alternative routes through Marilao, Bocaue, or Tambubong.

The Philippines is set to host participants from Africa, America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, and around 3,253 World Cup customer groups are expected to join the event.
