“With the new charter, we aim to put the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines as the premier government institution for aeronautics and aviation-related education and develop the movers in the Philippine aviation industry both in the private and government sector, including the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” Salo added.

Among the features of the bill is the establishment of a campus specifically for the cadets of the Philippine Air Force.

“The establishment of a campus specific for our Air Force cadets is necessary so they will not be left behind in this development,” Salo noted.

“It will allow the institution to adapt and flourish and become a player in the global arena as it embarks on a path towards excellence and innovation in aviation education,” he added.
