LUCENA CITY — Police arrested an armed “high-value” drug suspect and seized an estimated P547,500 worth of high-grade marijuana leaves or “kush” in a buy-bust operation on Saturday in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
The Police Region 4A on Sunday said anti-narcotics operatives arrested Joshua Borado after he sold a pack of “kush” to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) Paliparan 3 at around 10:00 a.m.
Borado yielded 21 packs or 365 grams of “kush” with an estimated value of P547,500, 15 small bottles of cannabis oil worth around P37,500 and .38 caliber revolver and ammunition.
Borado was detained and will face formal complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm.
