Mild quake hits Batangas
MANILA, Philippines —A minor quake shook hit off Batangas on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake, which measured at 3.3 magnitude, struck 16 kilometers east of Calatagan Batangas at 10:13 am.
The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of 116 kilometers, Phivolcs said.
No damages were recorded and no aftershocks were expected.
