MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and isolated rain showers are expected in parts of Southern Luzon and the entire Visayas, while generally fair and sunny weather will prevail over the rest of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), enhanced habagat continues to affect most parts of the Bicol Region, Northern Palawan, and Visayas.
(Tomorrow, the effects of the southwest monsoon will continue in a large part of the country, so in the Bicol region and the Northern portion of Palawan, the sky will be cloudy with a chance of scattered rain and thunderstorms.)
(Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will experience warm and sunny weather with chances of sudden downpours. In Mindanao, fair weather will also occur with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers.)
Aurelio said that Pagasa had not monitored any weather disturbance inside or outside the country’s area of responsibility.
