MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will bring cloudy skies and rain showers to Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday morning.
Metro Manila is expected to have fair weather with cloudy skies and isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon.
(The southwest monsoon or habagat is still affecting the entire country, hence, we expect cloudy skies and rain in parts of Visayas, Mindanao, and parts of Southern Luzon.)
Pagasa has not detected any weather disturbance inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility, since the low pressure area off Visayas has dissipated.
