MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is forecast nationwide on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Patuloy pa rin ang epekto ng habagat sa malaking epekto ng Luzon, pero inaasahan natin sa buong Luzon ang maaliwalas na panahon, maaraw pero may tiyansa ng pagulan dahil sa thunderstorm,” said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.
(The effect of the southwest monsoon or habagat continues to have a major impact on Luzon, but expect clear weather throughout Luzon, sunny but with a chance of rain showers due to thunderstorms.)
Fair weather is likewise expected in Visayas and Mindanao, but rain showers due to isolated thunderstorms are possible.
A gale warning, meanwhile, remains raised over parts of the country’s northern coasts, particularly, Batanes, the northern coast of Ilocos Norte and the northern coast of Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands.
2.8 to 4.5 meter – high waves are expected on the said areas.
