1,302 COVID-19 infections logged from July 24-30 — DOH

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,302 COVID-19 infections were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) from July 24 to 30, lower than the 1,671 recorded the previous week.

The latest weekly case tally translates to an average of 186 cases daily, 14 percent lower than the 239 average recorded from July 17 to 23.

The DOH verified 49 deaths in the past week.

Meanwhile, despite the decrease in infections, utilization of ICU beds slightly rose from 11.2 to 11.8 percent, and the non-ICU bed utilization rate decreased from 16.6 to 15.4 percent.

Based on the DOH’s online COVID-19 tracker as of July 30, the country’s total COVID-19 caseload is currently at 4,172,920, with 4,427 active cases, 4,101,900 recoveries and 66,592 deaths.
