MANILA, Philippines — Senator Pia Cayetano expressed her excitement over Philippines’ landmark triumph in Fifa Women’s World Cup on Tuesday in Wellington, New Zealand.

“The joy and pride we feel right now at the Wellington Regional Stadium are beyond words!” the senator exclaimed in delight.

“With each heart-pounding second that passed, we awaited this historic victory!” she narrated.
