MANILA, Philippines — A day after he delivered his second State of the Nation Address (Sona), President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said his report to the people was not enough and would have wanted to discuss other matters thoroughly.
The President, however, did not specify what else he wanted to report in his second Sona in a press release issued by the Palace on Tuesday.
“Kulang pa (It was lacking),” he said. “There was so much to go through, but I think we got most in.”

Marcos said there would still be post-Sona interviews with his Cabinet Secretaries, who are expected to elaborate on the points he made during Monday’s Sona, where he mentioned his administration’s accomplishments during their first year in office as well as plans for the economy, health, and agriculture, among others.
During the Sona, Marcos also called on lawmakers to prioritize several bills, including the Amendment of the Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act and New Government Procurement Law.
