MANILA, Philippines — Senator Imee Marcos on Monday said she supports the country’s move to disengage with the International Criminal Court after it rejected the appeal to halt its investigation over former President Rodrigo Duterte’s bloody drug war.

“Tama naman, ‘yun din naman ang polisiya ng previous administration, I think our courts are functioning just fine and there’s no need for interference,” said Sen. Marcos, chair of the Senate committee on foreign relations, as she made her red carpet appearance in her brother’s second State of the Nation Address (Sona).
