Vigor Mendoza named as new LTO chief
MANILA, Philippines — The Palace on Wednesday named Vigor D. Mendoza II as the new chief of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
A graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, Mendoza had also been a board member of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, according to the school’s website.
Mendoza is a former representative of the 1-United Transport Alliance Koalisyon (1-UTAK) partylist.
Mendoza replaces Jose Arturo Tugade, who resigned due to his disagreements with the Department of Transportation.
