MANILA, Philippines — Pump prices of petroleum products had mixed movements on Tuesday.
In separate advisories, the oil companies raised the price of diesel by 75 centavos per liter and kerosene by 50 centavos per liter.
In contrast, gasoline prices declined by 20 centavos per liter. Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Jetti Petroleum, and Shell implemented the price adjustments by 6 a.m. on Tuesday, followed by CleanFuel at 4:01 p.m.
Last week, the prices of gasoline and diesel both declined by 70 centavos per liter, while kerosene had an 85-centavo-per-liter decrease.
According to the Department of Energy, this resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of P3.70 per liter for diesel and P6 per liter for kerosene. Gasoline had a net increase of P5.85 per liter.
