MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country may expect generally fair weather conditions over the next three days according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Thursday.
(From Friday or tomorrow until Sunday, generally fair weather conditions will still be experienced throughout the country, although thunderstorm activities are still frequent in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao due to the oscillation or axis of movement of the ITCZ.)
Meanwhile, due to the prevalence of the ITCZ, residents of Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, and the southern portion of Palawan may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, may expect favorable but humid weather conditions due to easterlies or the warm and humid winds from the Pacific Ocean.
Del Mundo said no gale warning is currently in effect over the country’s seaboards, which means that fishermen with small sea vessels are permitted and safe to sail.
