MANILA, Philippines — Philippine archipelago is clear from any tropical cyclone or low-pressure area until Friday.

This information came from Ana Clauren, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) over the phone.

“For now, we have not monitored any low-pressure area or tropical cyclone inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in the next two to three days,” she said.

Pagasa had said two to four tropical cyclones would occur in the country this month.

Since January, three tropical cyclones have entered PAR.

The local names of the typhoons were Amang, Betty, and Chedeng.
