Man arrested for molesting baby girl in QC

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities arrested a 53-year-old man for allegedly molesting the one-year-old baby girl of his neighbors in Novaliches, Quezon City, the police said on Tuesday.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives of Novaliches Police Station identified and arrested suspect Leonardo Santos in Kingspoint Subdivision, Barangay Bagbag, after reportedly molesting the baby.
According to the QCPD, Santos went to the victim’s home and offered to take the baby home and look after the girl so that her older brother could play outside.
The older brother agreed. But when he went home, he caught Santos naked on top of his sister. He reported this to their parents, who sought the assistance of Novaliches Police Station.
The suspect will face a complaint for violating the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
