FEU tryouts in Cebu on April 24 and 25

UAAP RUNNERS-UP the Far Eastern University Tamaraws has announced that they will be having a tryout its basketball squad on April 24 and 25 at the University of San Carlos gym.

The tryout will be handled by champion head coach and Cebuano Bert Flores.

The Tamaraws are currently searching for players to further bolster their ranks as they try to reclaim the championship in the UAAP, which they last held in 2005 during the tail-end of a rare “three-peat” led by now-PBA great Arwind Santos.

There is one Cebuano on the seniors squad in the face of former University of Cebu ace Roger Ray Pogoy.

Current UAAP juniors MVP Jerie Marlon Pingoy, also formerly of the UC Baby Webmasters, plays for the FEU-FERN Baby Tamaraws. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
