DPWH to conduct weekend repairs on 23 roads in Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines  — The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct road reblocking and repairs on several roads from June 23 to June 26.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in an advisory, the DPWH repairs will begin at 11 p.m. on Friday, June 23, until 5 a.m. on Monday, June 26.

MMDA advised motorists to take alternative routes to avoid traffic and inconvenience.

The said repairs will be conducted on the following roads:

• C-5 Road northbound (NB), before and after intersection of C-5 and Julia Vargas St., Pasig City
• EDSA NB, after Kalayaan Flyover (3rd lane from bike lane), Makati City
• C-5 Road southbound (SB), in front of Petron, Makati City
• Mindanao Ave. NB underpass to Unioil Gas Station (truck lane), Quezon City
• Mindanao Ave. SB, fronting Yrreverre Square Bldg. (4th lane) and fronting BDO (1st lane), Quezon City
• A. Bonifacio Ave. NB, corner Sgt. Rivera (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• A. Bonifacio Ave. SB, Cloverleaf to 11th Ave. (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• G. Araneta Ave. SB, near Mauban St. to Del Monte Ave. (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Ave. NB, Commision on Audit (COA) MRT Station to Kristong Hari (1st lane and Ilang-Ilang St., to Sandiganbayan 4th lane), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Ave. NB, Diliman Doctors Hospital to Zuzuarregui St. (3rd lane and 4th lane from center), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Ave SB, Immaculate Concepcion St. to Zuzuarregui St. (1st lane and 2nd lane), Quezon City
